Devin Cloud has introduced several updates to enhance its work log, Oncall, and review features. The work log now shows the current step in the work log as soon as the summary is ready, instead of displaying ‘Deciding action’. Additionally, status lines no longer narrate internal housekeeping, providing a clearer view of the work log.
What shipped
Devin Oncall is now generally available to all organizations, allowing responders to watch Slack or Microsoft Teams channels and PagerDuty incidents, triage new alerts, and investigate them using telemetry tools. The feature also enables Devin to join incident channels and maintain a self-updating incident report. A new rules editor has been added to Review settings, allowing exclusions and review rules to be managed in one list of expandable rule cards. Other updates include clearer notice for unreviewed changes, CI status for commits, branches, and tags, and webhook auto-install results for GitLab and Bitbucket Data Center.
Implications for builders
These updates are expected to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of developers and responders using Devin Cloud. For example, the general availability of Devin Oncall can help organizations respond to incidents more quickly and effectively. The new rules editor for Devin Review can also simplify the management of review rules and exclusions.
Caveats
While these updates provide several benefits, it is essential to note that some features, such as the attachment classification by sensitivity label, require configuration by enterprise admins.
